MEET THE NGU TEAM
NINA GORMAN
NGU CLASSES
Hey, I’m Nina Gorman creative director and owner of NGU dance. With over 25 years of experience. I have a passion for teaching all varieties of dance to all abilities of students. I started my dance journey when I was 10 years old with my first ever Latin and Ballroom class. This led me to train in teaching which i received my first teachers exam pass at the tender age of 13. Since then I have broadened my dance vocabulary and utilise styles such as hip hop, street, poppin, locking, commercial, heels, emotive and tailored made classes aimed at my SEN students. Since starting NGU I have led and placed my teams at British championships, world championships and had one troupe have the honor to open a show for the Royal Family tour in London.
My aim and focus as a teacher and school is to help any dancer, young or old find themselves in dance and use it for self-expression. I want them to grow their unique self and find their individuality whilst excelling in their performance and dance ability. I believe having an incredible line up of teachers offering amazing classes allows all students to grow and flourish and in turn have a solid dance vocabulary which will lead them to planting the seeds for their own dance journey. Guidance and growth is so important at NGU as well as feeling supported and heard.
We will always encourage our dancers in any dance journey they wish to take and support them along their way. Never give up is the moto of the company and is something I will constantly apply to myself.
